85% of what you give reaches a programme. The other 15% is filing, banking and insurance — the cost of being a registered nonprofit rather than a collection. Both figures cover the period stated on the accounts page.

Two things worth knowing before you send one. A US account has no IBAN, so a form that insists on one is asking for something that does not exist — the account number and the SWIFT code are what it wants. And the bank takes USD 15 off an incoming wire, which comes out of the gift rather than out of us: Zelle and an ACH transfer both cost nothing, so if either is open to you it is worth more to the programmes.
