Bokyung (Bailey) Park
Bokyung Park, who goes by Bailey, is a graduate student in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School, with a background that runs across international affairs, public policy, technology research, and data analytics.
She holds a bachelor's degree in International Studies from American University, and has also studied at University College London and Yonsei University.
As a Content Analyst supporting Google through Vaco Highspring, she evaluated digital content for quality, accuracy, potential bias, and compliance with platform standards — work that is, in substance, the question this Institute keeps running into from the other side: what makes a body of collected material reliable enough to reason from.
At the Korea Foundation in Washington, D.C., she researched U.S.–South Korea relations, prepared analytical reports, and supported international cooperation initiatives, working in both languages. As a Political Research Consultant at Prizma Strategies she analysed more than fifty legislative initiatives on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data privacy, turning regulatory movement into something a decision could be made against. Earlier, at the Institute of World Politics, she researched China's digital strategy, emerging technologies, and international technology policy, and wrote briefings for policy and academic readers.
Her working expertise is in data quality evaluation, policy analysis, structured research, and information synthesis, with professional certifications in Google Data Analytics and Microsoft Excel.
At APYCF she is a Data Collection Associate, bringing that experience to research on digital vulnerability, technological risk, and community well-being — work whose point is to be useful to the communities it is about rather than only to the people who read it.
