Researcher — Organisational Psychology and Behavioural Science

Ognjen Zakić

Ognjen Zakić is an organisational psychology researcher whose work runs across behavioural science, human resource management, organisational innovation and artificial intelligence. He is reading for a master's in psychology at the University of Warsaw, specialising in business and organisational psychology, psychotherapy, and neuropsychology and neuroscience, on an academic record of 4.8 out of 5.0 and the Rector's Scholarship awarded for it.

He has contributed as second author or co-author to three studies of organisational behaviour, innovation, management and motivation. The work has run from building the theoretical frame and reading the existing literature systematically through to designing the questionnaire and doing the statistical analysis — which is to say he has been on a study at every stage rather than at one of them.

At the Psychology and AI Research Laboratory in Warsaw he leads a team of six responsible for the laboratory's website, how it presents itself, and how its research is communicated. He ran the laboratory's newsletter team before that, coordinating research updates across disciplines and helping bring in more than thirty new members.

Outside research he has worked at Philip Morris International with multinational teams on employee lifecycle management, organisational process and human resource information systems. The combination he brings is psychological research, organisational strategy, data analysis and cross-cultural collaboration.
